WE ARE ALL BODIES OF WATER
La Mer Blue Heart
Our blue planet, our beating hearts: Water comprises both in almost-equal amounts, a proportion so perfectly aligned that it’s impossible to call it coincidence. Faced with this fact, it’s clear that we cannot separate ourselves from our seas. The ocean’s wellbeing is our wellbeing, and protecting it ensures a bright future for us all.

OUR MISSION

We are committed to helping protect marine habitats across the globe, in hopes to ensure future flourishing seas for generations to come. Through charitable donations by the La Mer Blue Heart Oceans Fund, we strive to create ripples of good that leads to waves of change.

COASTAL RESTORATION
Our support for The Nature Conservancy
The Nature Conservancy’s work in the Caribbean is dedicated to strengthening the resilience of coastal communities and protecting resources they depend on. So far, we’ve helped them plant over 400,000 mangroves in the Dominican Republic, protecting against coastal erosion and the impacts of climate change.

OCEAN EDUCATION
Our support for the Oceano Azul Foundation
"To aid them in their mission of creating a Blue Generation in the Azores (and eventually more of the Portuguese-speaking world), we supported the development of educational content and a training program that has equipped nearly 30% of Azorean teachers to bring ocean literacy to primary school students on the islands.
We also supported the Oceano Azul Expedition, leading to the discovery of the LUSO Hydrothermal Field. This area has unique environmental conditions compared to other known hydrothermal fields, creating a zone of high biological, geological and chemical importance."

YOUTH EMPOWERMENT
Our support for EarthEcho International
"EarthEcho’s OceanEcho 30X30 initiative aims to build a global youth movement to protect 30% of our ocean by 2030. Key regions of focus include the Galápagos, Antarctica, coastal California and southeast Florida.
Together, we also launched the Future in the Bag campaign, working with local communities across the United States to reduce the use of plastic bags.
